At GVIP Parker we have a fully stocked, full service kitchen, as well as a full time Food Service Coordinator.
All snacks and meals are made fresh every day, with adjustments made for children with food allergies.
All of our meals are planned to meet or exceed the nutrition requirements set forth by the CDHS (Colorado Department of Human Services).
Also, at least one day a week, we provide healthy ingredients and child-developed recipes to our students as an opportunity for the children to make their daily snacks, and in the process, learn about healthy serving sizes and measurements, as well as appetizing color combinations, flavor and texture, and counting, all in their immersion setting.
